Perhaps with due respect to HIPAA and Health Privacy Laws, it may be helpful to consult with legal counsel regarding addressing the needs of members of the community with existing health issues that might be further compromised by escaped air contaminants emitted by excavation of the proposed pit.
Mention was made about the vulnerable, including the school children and some members of the community with existing lung conditions.
The need for clean air is a BASIC human need. We the residents of La Porte are entitled to breathe the same quality of clean air as other residents of communities that are fortunate enough not to have to deal with SEVERAL quarries concentrated in their neighborhood.
