I did some research and found this link that includes a study conducted on how a quarry adversely affected property values.
On Appendix A page 12 of the study it was concluded from the data gathered that based on the parameters established, that the chance of the gravel mine NOT HAVING an ADVERSE effect on housing values was — ONE in a THOUSAND. 1:1,000. Perhaps a similar study to help support public nuisance claims would be helpful to our cause.
