TAKE ACTION

The community is demanding a more comprehensive look at plans for all of these parcels together and the cumulative effects they will have on the health and economy of Laporte. The acreage footprint of these parcels is larger than the town itself and the environmental consequences will be substantial and negative. We intend to maintain the rights of our town and its citizens.

NLG has engaged an Environmental Attorney. By using local expertise and volunteer effort we are frugally using donated funds to empower and make the most of our legal fight. We sincerely thank the Community for their generous support and for your continued support by donating here.

To submit comments and ask questions, contact Larimer County’s Senior Planner, Rob Helmick: 498-7682, rhelmick@larimer.org.  Be specific and, when possible, cite evidence that backs up your comments.  You can also copy your comments to the Larimer County Commissioners, and this becomes particularly important now that the formal application is submitted for this project, at BOCC@larimer.org.  This address also reaches the County Manager.  Emails sent to bocc@larimer.org are made public unless you include the word private in the subject line.

Meet

Meet the County Commissioners and express your comments or questions at a Citizen Meeting.  Each Commissioner holds meetings weekly and options are available all around the County.  The current schedule is available from the County.
